To be civilized

To be civilized, from my understanding, is to be highly domesticated to the point of complacency. All originality is socialized out of you and spontaneity is neutralized through conventional contemporary western education which consequentially drys out the creative spirit and leaves it in a state of anorexia. I feel that if I am to survive such deadly traps of institutionalization and colonialism then I must turn my back completely on the education industrial complex. I must cut off the tel-a-vision and and tune into something more significant that has true nutritional and spiritual value. I must seek consultation from Nature and the cosmos and reference ways of relating that have a cultural relevance. I must build a bridge so that I may travel back and forth freely and invite others who might be of light mind and heart. Yeah I said it, its time to find out who I really am underneath all this socialization.
